The events in the life in the life of Lucas Trapaza who takes the picaresque as a way of existing in a wandering through the Spanish geography, until he becomes a master of the profession. On his way he meets Alonso, a young man with concerns about "living the world". Fernando Fernán Gómez wrote the original script inspired by the great authors of the picaresque novel of the 16th and 17th centuries: Miguel de Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo, Vicente Espinel, Salas Barbadillo, Alain René Le Sage and the anonymous author of "Estebanillo González"
