Hank, a retired Sergeant with the Military Police, receives a call informing him that his youngest son, Mike, has gone AWOL. Hank embarks on finding Mike, recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, but makes a series of discoveries, including a murder, that leads Hank into a far more confused and disturbing situation than he'd expected.
