Summary, etc. It is a superb picture of Popper's political and philosophical thought during and after the Second World War, from his early socialism through to his radical humanitarianism. The essays demonstrate the clarity and pertinence of his thinking not only oh themes which characterize his work as a whole but subjects which reveal his unwavering political commitment such an as anti-semitism, the role of the media and the Cold War.
